席琳·迪翁（Celine Dion）是享誉世界的加拿大天后。1968年出生于魁北克省，5岁开始唱歌，12岁出道，她的歌声空灵大气，仿佛能穿透灵魂、直指人心。

2003年6月，路德的最新专辑《Dance With My Father》一经发行就风靡世界，众多明星以视频和照片的形式参与到MV中，展示父子、父女之情。
路德在歌词里写下了一个孩子的记忆：男孩的父亲因糖尿病并发症去世，那一年他只有7岁。
路德的歌声中带着一点点忧伤，更多的还有那些遥远而温暖的细节和情绪。
2004年，丧父一年的席琳迪翁翻唱了这首歌，同样是经典之作。
2004年的格莱美奖上，路德的这首歌让他一举拿下年度最佳单曲、最佳蓝调歌手和最佳蓝调专辑三项大奖。
当时路德因健康状况欠佳未能出席颁奖礼，现场由席琳·迪翁翻唱，理查德·马克斯为她钢琴伴奏。
