Applying for full-time positions in the Regular Force
You can apply for the Regular Officer Training Plan if you are 16 years old but to apply to join the Regular Force, you must:
be a Canadian citizen
be 18 years old (17 years old with parental consent)
have completed at least Grade 10 (Secondaire IV in Quebec)
When enrolling, you must be of an age where there is enough time to complete any necessary training and your first term of service before the compulsory retirement age of 60.
