今天一觉醒来，又下！雪！了！ 早上10点35分，加拿大环境部对大温地区发出了降雪警报（Snowfall Warning）。周日降雪量将高达5-10厘米。（Snowfall, with total amounts of 5 to 10 cm is expected.） 一个海上低气压正造成南部内陆海岸降雪。（大规模的）降雪将会在下午停止，但是仍然会有阵雪或降雨。 现在的降雪已经有5-20厘米，预计白天仍将降雪5厘米。 周日晚上的情况将会变糟，因为这股低气压今晚就会登陆，晚上又要下大雪！大温地区和菲沙河谷地区地势较高的地区（高贵林、素里、本拿比等）雪量将最高达15厘米。请大家尽早做好准备。 环境部表示，有些地区的雪量非常大，在短时间内积雪就会大到足以影响出行。今天出行时务必小心、慢行，与前车保持足够的距离。 根据天气预报，未来一周的每一天都将有大雨。 根据本地气象学家的介绍，多年的气象资料显示，虽然今年冬天的气候比较异常，但3月降雪对于温哥华来说并不奇怪。
环境部降雪警告全文： Snowfall, with total amounts of 5 to 10cm is expected.
A low pressure system offshore is producing bands of snow over the inner SouthCoast. Snow is expected to ease this afternoon. However, scattered flurries orshowers will persist for the remainder of the day.
Storm totals so far range from 5 to 20 cm. An additional 5 cm is possible forthe remainder of today.
The low will cross the inner south coast tonight, bringing another round ofsnow to the region later this evening. Again, snowfall amounts will be highlyvariable. The highest amounts are expected over higher elevations of MetroVancouver and Western sections of the Fraser Valley. Areas affected by thebands of snow can expect 5 to 15 cm by Monday morning. Rapidly accumulating snow could maketravel difficult over some locations. If visibility is reduced while driving,slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
