Griffintown horse palace是北美最古老的马厩，已经存在了150多年了。

Griffintown horse palace的马厩随时可能坍塌。为了保留这座历史建筑，Griffintown horse palace基金会举办了一场善款筹集活动。

马厩的房顶开始分崩离析，墙壁也开始打弯。

筹集善款是为了阻止情况继续恶化。

“重建马厩只要$180,000。我们这次筹款的目标是向公众筹集$45,000，其余部分基金已经够了”基金工作人员Emilie Vezina-Dore说。

这片地一部分属于蒙特利尔市，另一部分属于一位房地产开发商，其总裁已帮助基金募集到$135,000的重建善款。

重建的目标是将景点向公众开放，新盖一座谷仓和一家咖啡店。

活动一直持续到十月一日，十月二日召开筹款晚会。
