Responsibilities:
- Supervise, monitor and troubleshoot and plan for the various functionalities in the finance department:
● Financial Statements month end, quarter end and year end close. ● Inventory costing rolling price and count process. ● AR/AP monthly, quarterly and year end close. ● Internal control and external auditor year end process.
- Support/advise the cross functional teams including the leadership team with strategic business risk assessments, managerial KPI reports, such as business line profitability, cash flow and budgetary control etc.
- Assist CEO in financial related matters to report to the board of directors. Coordinate with the leadership team and IT for business performance reporting.
- Coordinate, negotiate and relationship build with the external auditors, legal counsels for financing, strategic operational vendors, creditors, and potential and existing institutional investors. Meet their financial and operational reporting information needs.
- Develop finance team members in their financial technical expertise, career planning and resolve the technical issues in the daily process .

Qualifications:
● Minimum bachelor degree in accountancy or bachelor ofcommerce, CPA. ● At least 8 to 10 years’ Canadian corporate finance experience inmedium to large sized enterprises, retail industry, or public listed companies preferred.
● Excellent communication skill both verbal and written in Englishand French, speaking Mandarin is an asset. ● Excellent organizational & time management skill. ● Excellent managerial accounting & ERP software experience,Microsoft advanced user. ● People management /leadership experience isrequired ● Excellent interpersonal skills
