To manage the Application Development activities and resources, all the while promoting team work and directing the team's training, career planning, coaching / mentoring, performance management etc.
To develop, deliver and maintain technologies solutions that meet our business partners' needs.
To ensure the quality of our solutions.
To participate in establishing and revising department policies and procedures by collaborating with the director in the analysis, writing and communication of these policies and procedures.
To make sure that the resources are working on the projects, requests and problems with the highest priority (priority management).
To ensure all work complies with the department standards on application development processes, quality and architecture.
To manage activities of the program and of the multidisciplinary project teams in organizing, scheduling and controlling optimal utilisation of human, financial and material resources according to business strategies and the budget planning.
Promote and guide team work.
To define the mandate of the program/project with the collaboration of the business sponsors.
To develop and maintain program/project plans, identify deadlines and estimate costs and duration.
To ensure activities follow-up and control of the program/project evolution and communicate the progression to the organization.
To ensure costs follow-up and ensure the respect of the budget.
To anticipate and manage problems and/or difficult situations and take necessary actions to resolve them.
To provides assistance and support to lower level Project Managers, as needed.
To plans and oversees the preparation and dissemination of program/project communications.

● Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science
Business intelligence experience
Working knowledge of development methodologies (Agile BI, SDLC)
Working knowledge of Business Intelligence / Data Warehouses (Data Vault, Informatica, PL/SQL, Oracle, Hortonworks, Hadoop, etc.)
Very good communication capabilities, spoken and written, with IT management as well as to our business partners and to our leadership team
Demonstrated initiative, negotiating and coaching skills
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Team orientation and demonstrates collaboration skills
Able to multi-task a variety of initiatives with tight deadlines
