Participate in the development and implementation of the annual strategic plan for employee communications.
Advise internal clients on communication strategies, channels and tactics to meet their needs and those of the Corporation.
Develop personalized communications plans, including organizational and operational initiatives, and provide the necessary support.
Monitor communication plans for different internal committees and departments, remain attentive to new projects and communications issues, identify and prioritize them and propose innovative, upstream solutions.
Draft, revise, edit, produce and publish a wide variety of communications tools (newsletters, articles, presentations, Q&As, posters, etc.).
Monitor the graphic production of certain communications tools to ensure they comply with the standards and respect the integrity of the brand.
Produce a calendar of internal activities (publications and events).
Assist at every step of the development and organization of employee recognition events, including post-mortems.
Produce and follow up on contracts and estimates to meet the organization’s budgetary expectations.
Work in close collaboration with members of the extended Communications team (partners, customer relations, marketing communications, customer relationship management) to identify, implement and deploy strategies and tactics that promote VIA Rail’s activities in all its facilities across the country.
