They will manage the Passenger Assessment System databases (PAS), handling watch lists, and others requiring special security measures and support the Operation Security Center as back-up and ensure that quality service is provided;
Provide operational oversight and guidance to the OSC team to ensure that all procedures are well understood and respected;
Provide additional training to OSC to correct any problems found and provide initial theoretical training to new OSC staff;
Ensure effective identification and actioning of passenger PNR records to prevent or allow boarding of certain individuals in accordance with regulatory requirements;
Develop required processes for efficient and effective implementation of regulatory and security requirements;
Assess and authorize immigration cases as per policies and annotate files;
Assess and authorize requests from peace officers to carry their firearms in the cabin;
Ensure minimal inconvenience to passengers who are impacted by these processes;
Review and respond to customer complaints regarding regulatory processes;
Perform and analyze quality assurance and provide feedback and guidance to OSC as required;
Ensure processes are followed to maintain the integrity of the databases by all who have access to them.
