Reporting to the Manager, Resource & Expense Management within Sun Life Canada’s Group Life & Disability, the Data Analyst is responsible for managing, providing analysis and reporting on data for resource planning and expenses within the Analytics and Expense Management team. This role will collaborate with the Disability Metrics team and various GL&D Operational teams to build, maintain and reports on dashboards based on stakeholder requirements and specifications;
Work directly with Analytics and other GL&D Operational teams build and maintain dashboards and expense reports;
Assess impact of initiatives/projects to capacity, workload, expenses and volumes;
Development of critically important reports using Excel, SQL, and Boxi;
Participate in the gathering of requirements, technical design, development, and testing of data tables and business data models and in the creation of documentation;
Collection and reporting on projects by Cost Benefit Analysis.
