Hands-on involvement in all aspects of Quality Systems functions.
Works closely with the cross functional teams to improve factory processes and overall quality.
Supports Continuous Improvement projects to improve the effectiveness of the Quality Team’s associated processes, key metrics and the management of non-conformances.
Actively participate in cross functional teams efforts to achieve quality objectives, i.e. Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCM), Issue Resolution (IR) .
Communicate quality policy, standards and requirements and expectations to employees, suppliers and customers.
Demonstrate and support a quality culture at Grass Valley, leading by example, where associates see, hear and feel quality around them.
Accurately read and interpret blue prints, technical sketches, drawings, configuration, and customer documents to ensure product/quality requirements are being meet.
Performs assigned duty as directed by management.
